01.02.2007: Schub für afrikanische Zivilgesellschaft
Es war ein großer Erfolg, das erste Weltsozialforum in Afrika vom 20.-25. Januar – jedenfalls für die afrikanischen Zivilgesellschaften, weniger für die Organisatoren. Auch wenn die Großveranstaltung durch zahlreiche organisatorische Pannen beeinträchtigt wurde, gelang es afrikanischen NGOs und sozialen Bewegungen, ihre Themen, Einsichten und Positionen mit großem Selbstbewußtsein in die weltweite Debatte der Globalisierungskritiker einzubringen
